I'm so excited to be a part of the 2nd Chance Depot Team! We have wonderful volunteers and I love working with them and learning from them!

 My name is Michelle Boer and I live in Sioux Center with my husband. I'm originally from Lincoln, NE “Go Big Red,” but am becoming a Hawks fan (shh...don't tell my husband). My maiden name is Jane, as you can see, not Dutch, and I don't know Dutch Bingo (but I'm learning)!

 I love the Lord with all of me and I strive to be obedient to Him. I have worked at ViBella Jewelry for over 1 ½ years. The ministry is so important to me providing jobs in Haiti and Mexico. It is so powerful and seeing what God is doing through ViBella. It is amazing and I love being a part of that journey.  

 Being obedient is sometimes scary and hard to leave your comfort zone but it is always rewarding...so when the opportunity came up to be the Manager of 2nd Chance, my husband and I felt it was the perfect fit. I love what God is doing through ATLAS, and to know that all of the money from 2nd Chance goes into the ATLAS ministry, it is exciting to be a part of that!  I'm so excited to see how God is going to use each one of us to further His Kingdom!  

 I love re-purposing things, I get that from my Grandpa and Mom!  Finding old things and putting a coat of paint can make all the difference...I'm excited to see what you guys do with things you find at the store...I would love if you do re-purpose something, please send me a picture so I can post it on Facebook!

 For 43 years I was single. The day before my 44th birthday on September 24, 2016 God blessed me and I married the man of my prayers, Glen Boer. In doing so, I was also blessed with 3 grown step-kids Beau, Payton, and Braxton. I love my family!  

 So being obedient is so worth it. Two of my favorite verses are John 14:15 and 2 Corinthians 10:5.
